How to Care for your Natural Walnut:
Solid, natural walnut is a durable material that showcases varied veneer patterns, finishes and details. Natural knotting and graining — both cathedral and straight — can differ across pieces, creating a flow between light and dark. These unique characteristics contribute to each piece’s individual nature, and these variations are to be expected.

Artist: Lauren Fuhr
Lauren is a designer and artist based in Denver, Colorado. She’s passionate about creating beauty through art and design, and finds joy in making everyday life more meaningful and inspiring. Her work includes paintings, home décor, and apparel that reflect an artful, purposeful lifestyle.
Much of Lauren’s inspiration comes from nature and her time spent in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains during college. She sees art everywhere—in big windows filled with natural light, in thoughtfully designed interiors, in landscapes and sunrises, and in quiet, meaningful moments like laughs shared on the kitchen floor. Her aesthetic is grounded in simplicity, warmth, and natural beauty, often featuring neutral tones and organic textures.
Lauren lives and works creatively each day alongside her husband, AJ—also known as her Chief Painting Namer—and their golden mix studio dog, Wilson.
Artist: Roseanne Kenny
Roseanne Kenny was born in New Zealand, studied art and design there, and has been bouncing between New Zealand and Spain over the last 10 years. During this time she has been raising her two sons and developing her style in digital art. Originally a graphic designer, she has blended her digital design skills with her love of fine art (printmaking, painting, and illustration), creating a perfect marriage of her two passions. Roseanne is drawn to geometric and abstract forms, lines, and patterns, playing with bold shapes and minimal colors.
Roseanne Kenny’s art reflects a deep connection to her heritage and experiences by drawing inspiration from traditional Maori art and textile designs. These elements lend cultural richness to her pieces that merge historical influence with modern aesthetics.
Many of her pieces utilize a monochromatic or two-color palette for added clarity and focus. Her minimalistic landscapes offer a balance in structure that works by combining her love of painting with her skills in digital techniques. This balance of structure and creativity gives Roseanne Kenny’s art a striking yet serene quality, making it both contemporary and timeless. Each piece showcases her ability to layer simplicity with complexity, creating visuals that feel both intimate and universal.
Artist: Jess Engle
Jess Engle (b. 1983, York, PA) is a contemplative abstract painter based in Austin, Texas. Her work is a living exploration of the essence of peace as a unifying force within all things.
She spent her formative years living in Pakistan, Germany, Ethiopia, Cyprus, Malawi, South Africa, and Togo. Each place has left an imprint on her spirit and informs her aesthetic sensibility.
Jess works with the guiding principle that true peace can only be found through realizing the harmony of opposing forces. This is a way of moving through art and life that is informed by her lifelong study of wisdom traditions combined with her daily practice of Sōtō Zen.
There is a direct meeting of light and dark, subtle and overt, raw and refined, solidity and weightlessness, the eternal and present moment that gives each piece a life force of its own.
The most important element in Jess Engle’s work is time. Her works are created in layers of building up and breaking down over seasons of months and sometimes years.
Jess experiences creation as a process of becoming. A passage through space and time. A way of living between worlds. A way of moving in concert with life. A way of bridging different views and perspectives. And a way of fostering peace in times of polarity.
